<image:title>Blog - Therapeutic Gaming: How Role-Playing Games Support Child (and even Adult) Wellbeing</image:title>
<image:caption>When parents hear “tabletop role-playing game” (TTRPG), they may think of dice, character sheets, and fantasy adventures. While that’s true, these games also have powerful educational and therapeutic benefits. Research shows that play is essential to healthy development, and role-playing games offer a unique blend of creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving that can support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth.</image:caption>

<image:title>Blog - When Your Pet Helps You Heal: A Guide to Emotional Support Animals (and ESA Letters)</image:title>
<image:caption>Animals can matter deeply. They may offer companionship during lonely periods, comfort when anxiety is high, a reason to get out of bed during depression, and a familiar presence when life feels uncertain. If you are thinking about an Emotional Support Animal, it makes sense to have questions. You may be wondering whether an animal could help with symptoms, whether your housing provider has to allow one, or whether your therapist can write a letter. It can also feel disappointing to learn that there are legal limits. Wanting support from an animal is not unreasonable, and a limit or a clinician’s “no” does not mean your need for comfort is unimportant. It means that different types of animals have different roles under the law, and that a letter must be based on an honest, individualized clinical assessment. pic: Melissa (wearing the bright pink mumu, right) tries to coax Pinky (a very amused potbelly pig, left) back to his home with a tasty cheese snack. *Note: Pinky is very sweet, but more advanced emotional support skills are not his forte.</image:caption>
